Linda has been VERY busy attending graduate school this past year.  I started late in May 2003 and by Aug 2004 I completed all the PA requirements for elementary certification.  Within 3 hours of my interview with Reading school district, I was offered a contract as a high school math teacher.  So I have been teaching in Reading hs with an emergency certification.  I am scheduled to take the Middle School Math PRAXIS exam in March.  I am also taking a class that will complete coursework requirements for secondary certification.  I'm hoping to add this certifiaction and continue my employment at Reading with a valid certification - or move to other places, as the Lord leads.

 

Mandy is taking driver education in this  - her 10th grade year!  She played varsity tennis in the fall and has joined a couple clubs at school.

 

Jon is also in the high school this year (9th grade).  This past year he has developed quite a number of interests and has pursued them with vigor.  He taught himself to juggle in about a week.  Then he mastered the art of unicycling in about a month.  He also picked up the guitar and is playing all his favorites with remarkable ease.  He's started taking professional lessons to make sure he stays on the fast track.

 

 

 

 

Our dream is to make a cross country trip.  Since this summer may be the very first time that I will have both money AND time, I've begun to research the possibilities.  Mandy is very excited about going - we're hoping that we can manage to do it this year.  It will be very hard to wait.
